This machine is one of the prizes from my collection. It is a 1928 A.B.T. Big Game Hunter, in the solid oak cabinet, that came out of Mexico.

In my nearly 35 years of collecting A.B.T. gun games, this is the only one that I have ever owned that was set up to take foreign currency, in this case a Mexican coin. It required some custom parts for the gun as well as some fine engineering work by the craftsmen at the A.B.T. factory.

The overall condition of the machine is very nice. The cabinet needed a bit of glue to pull things back together, and the back door has a bit of damage, but overall it just required a good cleaning. The gun and score mechanism were reconditioned by me.

The decals on the top glass are original and in amazing condition for their age. The translation is;

5 shots 5c        Place fifth of copper in the slot of the gun. Push the knob of the gun so far. Choose your target. Pull the trigger slowly to back.

Original Mexican coins of the correct type are hard to find, but a US quarter also works.

The paint job on the front plate and marquees are faithful reproductions of the original. The original front plate was too broken up to use but the replacement is also an original, not a reproduction.
In fact, the entire machine is original parts, except for the reel strips and a few pieces of hardware.
